If you are new: read the pinned threads once. Register with two honest lines. Mail is for beds. Talk is for things that already have a name on a chest or a cleat. Nothing here is a shop. Not the jars, not the apples, not the boats, not my time. Ask with your name on the day you mean it. I will not reply to every thank-you. I will notice if the kettle is on the cellar stair again.

The rule did not change because someone was tired of explaining it. It changed once, in March, and we are not resetting that world because a new bed finds the ditch inconvenient. If this helped, you do not need to thank me. Put the thing back where the next person expects it.

Someone will ask again in a week. The answer will have the same shape: read the paper, read the board, write two lines if you need a bed, and do not invent a meeting that was only rain.

Writing so Saturday does not become detective work. Train was late. Bus was not. I still made Friday. Thin and true beats a calendar of maybes. That is all I have.
